Effortix consists of many pages which, when combined together become your own mobile app. You can add pages from the homepage of your app administration or by clicking on the plus button above the structure in the left sidebar. Below, you can read everything about pages and how to use them to their full potential.
Mobile catalog of your products or services. This is the most important page of business oriented applications.
Create categories for your products or services. Name your categories and choose fitting icons for them from the wide range of icons Effortix offers. You can even create sub-categories into which you can further divide your items to keep your app more organized.
Setting Units & Vendors
In the catalog main item, you can find tabs called Units and Vendors.
Under the Units tab, you can set in which units you sell your products and services.
Adding Products & Services
Before adding products into your catalog, you should visit the SETTINGS page and set the currencies you want to support.
In the left sidebar, choose catalog or desired category into which you want to add the item. After clicking on button you can customize your product or service.
Let’s take a closer look at the various tabs Effortix offers when it comes to catalog items.
Information – Here you can set if the item is a product or a service, select the unit in which it is sold, add EAN or USP number and even your own catalog number. And as mentioned before, the vendor or manufacturer.
Description – In the description, you can write about the product, this works like any text editor you already know.
Parameters – By clicking on the button you can add names of the parameters, and then specify everything about these by adding rows.
Price – Here you can choose to which tax group the item belongs and set the price of the item.
Photos – Upload and select images of your product here.
Attachments – Here you can add any attachments like documents etc.
Links – Put links to the manufacturer website or any other website here.
Related items – Here you can add related items, like products or branches where the products are sold etc.
Before adding the shopping cart into your app, you should set Currencies & Taxes on the SETTINGS page.
After adding the shopping cart into your mobile app, you can customize your cart options.
Show prices – If enabled, prices of the items will be shown in the shopping cart.
Enable customers – If disabled, information about logged user will be sent instead. Disable this if you want your app used by end customers and clients instead of sales representatives.
Add country taxes/VAT – If enabled, taxes and VAT will be shown in the shopping cart.
E-mail – Notifications about new orders will be sent to the e-mail address provided here in the selected language.
Customers, Shipping & Payment
Under the Customer tab, you can select which information is required from your customer before placing an order.
Under the Shipping & Payment tab, you can set the shipping, payment, and additional options.
Documents let you include downloadable files with your app. This is great for creating a knowledge base or to keep important information accessible easily at all times.
To add documents into your app, use this page and upload files to attachments. You can also set related items – for example, link a product manual and the product in your catalog together for faster access.
A great way to support business is by offering a coupon in your app to attract more customers and reward users for using your app. Coupons work only once, and have to be redeemed by the user – usually at the time of making a purchase in the shop or restaurant etc.
We advise you to tell your users to click on redeem only after showing it to the responsible person (courier, cashier etc.)
You can set the validity of the coupon to let the users know when to use it, add related items (for example places where users can redeem said coupon or the product associated with the coupon) and contact information.
Create a list of your branches inside your app – this can be useful for your employees or clients.

Description – In description, you can write useful information about the place, this works like any text editor you already know.
Provided Services – Tell your users which services does each branch offer.
Invoicing Details – Write your invoicing information here.
Gallery– Upload and insert images of your premises here.
Contacts & Links– Add the address, phone number, e-mail address and webpage here.
GPS – If you want to show the branch on a map, write the address or GPS coordinates here or move the marker to the desired destination..
Opening hours – Add the opening hours here, you can set the validity and even create multiple opening hours for odd and even weeks.
Related items – Employees or products in the app associated with the branch can be added here.
QR Code – The code points directly to the branch. If read with a device with your application installed, the branch will be shown. If not, the user will be asked to install it.
Create a list of your employees – this can be useful for your employees that work off-site as a contact list or clients who might not know who to contact.

Information – Write useful information about the employee here, this works like any text editor you already know.
Competencies – Tell your users what each employee is responsible for.
Contacts & Links – Provide phone numbers, e-mail address or any other contact information here.
Photos – For faster & easier recognition, put profile pictures of your employees here.
Related items – Add the branch your employee works at here or any other related items from the app.
Barcode scanner reads codes with the phone camera. If your products have barcodes added, this tool will automatically redirect your user to the product page.
For restaurant menus and other short pricelist when you don’t need a catalog and cart, use this page. You can add as many sections and lines as you want but these pricelists don’t support multiple currencies. You can also add related items – for example the restaurant page.
Points of Interest
The most important page for mobile guides and traveling apps. Points of interest are usually used to show tourists the beauty and history of the city they are visiting.
Effortix offers these tabs for points of interest.
Description – Here, write about the history of the place or any other important information related to the site.
Facts – Tell your users some quick & interesting facts about the place.
Price – Put admission fees and ticket prices here.
Audio– To make your mobile guide really stand out and to provide the best content to your visitors, add audio recordings about the place here – this can save you money on equipment and your visitors will appreciate it!
Gallery – Attract visitors with professional photos of the place/statue/park and upload them to the gallery in your app.
Contacts & Links – Provide phone numbers, e-mail address, website address and other important contact information here.
GPS – Insert GPS coordinates or address here for an easy way to navigate the visitors trough the city. Make sure to add every POI on the map.
Opening hours – If the POI is a museum or a gallery with opening hours, add them here. You can set the validity and odd/even weeks for opening hours as well.
Services on the Web – For external links to the food menu, pricelists, opening hours and table or room booking.
Related items – Link related POIs or services from your app here.
QR Code – Print the QR code and put it near the POI to link users to the item in your app. If the visitor doesn’t have your app installed, he will be redirected to the download page.
Services work similarly to Points of Interest but this page is intended to be used for restaurants, accommodation and tourist information offices in the city etc. For more information about the tabs, read about the POI above.
Trips are a great way to guide the visitors around the city with your custom route. To create a trip for your app, you need a KML file with the route data. You can create a route with Google My Maps and then export it into .KML and upload it to your app.
To make a trip interesting, Effortix offers a number of tabs to fill with content.
Description – Write something about the trip and list the places the visitor is going to visit while following the directions, write an accurate and engaging description to convince tourists to take the trip.
Facts – Tell your users some quick & interesting facts about the trip – expected length, what should they expect etc.
Price – If the trip includes museums and other attractions with paid entrance, list them here.
Audio– To make the trip even more enjoyable, accompany the tour with a narrated story!
Gallery – Attract visitors with professional photos of the places they are going to visit when they decide to go on your adventurous trip!
Contacts & Links – Provide phone numbers, e-mail address, website address and other important contact information here – what if they get lost in the woods? Provide them with a way to get assistance should something happen.
Trip Info – Add length and difficulty of the trip here.
Trip Route – Upload and view the route of the trip. Only .KML files are supported.
Points of Interest – List the points of interest your visitors will visit while following the trip for easy access to information about them.
Opening Hours – If your trip includes museums or other places with opening hours, add them here.
QR Code – Print the QR code and put it at the starting point to link the real place with the app.
Every city has, at least, one remarkable and famous native person. You can create a list of them with this page.
To tell as much as possible about the person, fill these tabs with content:
Information– Fill in the occupation, nationality and dates and places of birth and death – all of these fields are optional.
Biography – Tell a story about this persons life and career.
Successes– List the most important successes of the person here.
Awards– Did the person receive any awards? Mention them here!
Facts – Is there something really interesting about this person? List those facts here.
Audio – Tell your user a story about the person with audio recorded narration.
Gallery – What does the person look like? Upload photos and examples of their work here.
Contacts & Links – If there is a website about this person or any other info, add it here.
Related Items – Maybe this person was an architect who designed most of the important buildings in the city – list them here for easy access.
QR Code – Is there a statue of this person in your city? Put the QR code on the pedestal to tell the whole story.
Text pages serve as a directory of general information. You can write about the history of the city or anything else, accompany it with audio file and list related items.
Keep your visitors, citizens and employees informed with this page, add news to your app and update it when important things happen – such as events, discounts, and announcements.
Tabs to fill with content:
Validity – This field is optional. Do you offer discounts for a limited time or is a festival happening near you? Then set the dates here.
Text – Write your message or description here.
Related Items– List the pages which are related to the announcement here.
Integrate a map into your app for easy navigation. Just add the page and it will automatically include trip routes and all items with GPS coordinates enabled.
The augmented reality is an advanced navigation for your users. Image from phone camera is augmented with information about branches, points of interest and nearby services.
The QR reader will automatically point to branches, points of interest, services, trips and other items. We generate the QR codes automatically for you and you can find them under the QR Code tab in each item.
Contact form is easy to setup – you just select which information is mandatory, optional or not needed at all and the e-mail address where the entries will be sent.
With custom form, you can gather data in the field easily, just set the e-mail address you want the responses to be sent to and write the questions.
You can choose what type of input each question accepts:
Text– Select if you want just a simple text, numbers only, valid e-mail address, valid URL address or passwords.
Paragraph – For longer written answers.
Choose from a list– Define the answers and let your users pick only one option.
Checkboxes– Define the answers and let your users pick multiple options.
Date– Let your users select a date from a calendar. This is useful for birthdates etc.
Time– If you want to gather data about time easily.
Choose a number– Lets you set minimal and maximal value and steps for a slider controlled input.
Set of Forms
Set of forms works as a directory of custom forms, with an option to not only send the data to an e-mail address, but also save it locally on the device for later. This is useful for marketing research purposes.
Text page which allows you to attach a list of related items, useful for “about” pages, quick news or snippets of text.
The URL address you provide here will be displayed inside the app in the integrated web browser. This might be useful for easy access to booking page or other web-based content.
